EducationXPress Community Members are invited to submit content for review and publication. Both existing and new, original works are appropriate for submission.

  • News – Business, research and technical news relevant to community members.  Submit relavant news items.

  • Calendar – Upcoming conferences, calls for papers, calls for proposals and funding deadlines relavant to digital innovation in higher education are of interest to our community members.  Submit a calendar item.

  • Reading List – The reading list is a fixed-length list representing the top 5-10 seminal documents in each content category identified by our editorial board and community members. They represent the most important works in each of the content categories.  The list is a living document that will evolve over time.  Submit an item to the Reading List.

  • Collection – The collection includes current reports, briefs, conference proceedings, videos, and journal articles relevant to moving digital innovation forward. Submit a published paper for inclusion in the collection.

  • EducationXPress First – This section is for original content first appearing on the site (as an open site, work may also appear elsewhere later).  This content falls into one of three categories.

    • Working Papers – Drafts of journal articles or conference papers not quite ready for prime time. Authors can engage the EducationXPress community in gathering feedback on draft papers and processes prior to submitting to EducationXPress or other journals for more comprehensive review and publication. Working Papers undergo preliminary review by the editorial team prior to posting to the site.

    • Research Briefs – Research Briefs are documents generally 15-30 pages in length and might include Course Reports, Methodological Notes, and Instructional Strategy Reviews. Briefs include discussion of methodology and findings at a high level. Research Briefs undergo preliminary review by the editorial team, are then assigned two or more reviewers with relevant expertise for review and feedback.  One or two rounds of editing may be required prior to publication on EducationXPress.

    • Peer-Reviewed Journal Articles – Peer-Reviewed Journal articles are 25 – 50 page publications and include deep discussion of background, methodology and analysis.  These publications undergo an extensive, blind review process and may include multiple rounds of edits in advance of publication.

Submit an original paper for inclusion in EducationXPress First.
